How to Talk to Your Therapist About Twin Flames

I often hear from people that they can't open up to their therapist about their twin flame. Maybe they will talk about the person, but they will leave out the deep spiritual part of the situation.

I felt the same. I didn't want to look stupid, and I figured they would dismiss my beliefs.

As a coach and hypnotist, I encourage everyone to go to therapy! My services complement the work you do with your therapist.

Knowing what I know now, this is how I would talk to my therapist about my twin flame.

I would set it up like there are two parts to this relationship. The spiritual connection and the human connection.

You can let your therapist know you would like help with the human connection. For example, looking at your attachment issues, your feelings that come when they disappear, grief, sadness, and childhood issues that pop up.

You can mention that you have a deep spiritual connection to this person and that it's almost like a religious belief that you two are connected on a different level. This connection might explain why you are having a hard time letting go of this person, but you do believe it is real.

You can let them know that this part is sacred to you, but you can feel shame around it because it’s not always understood by other people.

Explain to them that it's a deep soul connection, and you've never felt this way before. This person has a huge impact on your life, and you need to try to give it a go before you let go.

You can ask that they accept that is your reality and the framework you see this situation in.

Also, they can help you see what is magical thinking and what is real.

I can also work with your therapist. You will need to fill out a consent form so that your therapist and I can discuss your situation.

I think therapists can also be a great resource for understanding what is happening with your twin.

They know the signs of avoidants, PTSD, addiction, etc. This will help you understand the amount of healing work it will take them before they can come into reunion. Of course, therapists can't diagnose someone from afar, but they can help you understand what you might be dealing with.

I clearly remember my therapist looking at me and saying, “It sounds like he is unavailable.” That simple sentence really helped me open my eyes to what was actually happening. Not what I was trying to manifest.

The best combo for the quickest recovery really can be twin flame work and therapy.

The type of coaching and hypnosis I practice combines both the spiritual and the psychological side of twin flames.

Yes, we can talk to your twin's higher self, but if we don't look at the pain your father caused you, you are going to keep repeating the same pain patterns with your twin.

A twin flame psychic might give you some validation or insight on a past life, but it's not going to help you in your personal growth and clarity.

You need spiritual help and psychological help.

It all matters, and it all has to be addressed.

One day I will make a twin flame training for therapists! Ha.

I think we are just on the cusp of getting a better understanding of twin flames, so in the meantime don't take definitions and labels so seriously.
